Donate Land

The Circle of Life Memorial Gardens officially incorporated in the state of Maine in November 2020. Our current Board of Directors, with a solid background in bereavement facilitation, social work, business administration and horticultural design have been working diligently since our inception in July 2020 toward becoming Maine’s only botanical garden-designed cemetery. We are currently pending 501c13 tax exempt status with the federal government. We are also working together with Maine’s Center for Sustainability, a 501c3 nonprofit, to help bring sustainable education and options to the public.

As we move forward in bringing our vision to fruition, we are seeking landowners in Southern Maine who would like to preserve their land in perpetuity. We are looking for 100+ acres of land with a mix of forest and meadow. We would be grateful to connect with farmers looking to retire their land with a desire for perpetual conservation and preservation, landowners who don’t want to see their land sold to a commercial developer, or those with land who want to know it’ll be taken care of forever.

Please contact us if you would like to make a connection and/or have any questions about who we are and what we are working to accomplish. We appreciate your time and interest in helping us to make the Circle of Life Memorial Gardens a reality in Maine.
